Brown Smith Wallace has been honored 
by the Women's Foundation of Greater St. Louis as a top “Women in the Workplace” employer. Last fall, the firm participated in the Women’s Foundation 41-question survey, based on six categories: compensation, recruitment, retention, workplace culture, leadership and community support. The "Women in the Workplace: Employment Scorecard" is part of a new initiative the foundation launched in 2017.
In 2014, Brown Smith Wallace launched a women’s initiative to enhance the professional lives of women within the firm, as well as the community. Internally, the firm hosts quarterly professional development sessions for women in management. The external program is The Bridge: Connecting Women Leaders of Today and Tomorrow. The Bridge is a series of events for women of all career stages that promote networking, personal and professional development. Brown Smith Wallace has also received recognition from Accounting MOVE as a best place to work for women.
Tim Jerry joins Brown Smith Wallace as Chief Financial Officer. Jerry brings more than 25 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer.
He has held instrumental financial leadership roles supporting rapid and lasting growth in diverse industries such as information technology, communications and healthcare. Prior to joining Brown Smith Wallace, Jerry served as controller for Thompson Coburn and was the Chief Financial Officer for Maryville Technologies.

Jerry earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Missouri and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Washington University, and is a licensed CPA.
