Brown Smith Wallace has announced the promotions of seven employees, including a new Director of Practice Growth and six managers.
- Cheryl Foster has been promoted to director of practice growth, formerly marketing/business development. In this role, she will lead the practice growth team in developing and implementing the firm’s integrated marketing and business development strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance the reputation of the firm.
- Christian Tieman has been promoted to manager in the insurance advisory services practice. As a manager, Tieman is in charge of many of the insurance advisory services engagements.
- Kelly Peery has been promoted to manager of practice growth, formerly marketing/business development. As a manager, Peery is responsible for overseeing and creating business development processes throughout the firm as well as managing all lead generation campaigns; marketing technology, analytics and reporting; and all business development research resources.
- Taryn Dettman has been promoted to manager in the insurance advisory services practice. As a manager, Dettman is in charge of many of the insurance advisory services engagements. She oversees tax engagements, including preparation of income tax provisions on both U.S. GAAP and Statutory bases of accounting as well as the preparation of federal and state income tax returns.
- Valeria Klamm has been promoted to manager of practice growth, formally marketing/business development. As manager, she is primarily responsible for developing growth strategies for the firm and its practices and niche groups, which includes developing thought leadership and other content.
- Zachary Franke has been promoted to manager in the advisory services practice. Franke’s expertise is focused on business performance consulting, compliance, internal and operational audits.
