HCVT Recipient of CalCPA’s 2018 Firm Public Service Award

Los Angeles, CA, June 5, 2018— The California Society of Certified Public Accounts announced that Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP (HCVT) is one of the recipients of the CalCPA’s 2018 Firm Public Service Award recognizing the firm’s commitment to community service. The firm has an active community service committee led by Julie Miller, Business Management partner. She stated, “HCVT’s diverse community service endeavors have allowed us to benefit a wide array of causes. While focused mainly on the urban areas surrounding our various offices, we have been able to help children, women, the homeless community, members of our military, animals, and those affected by natural disasters.”

HCVT’s Getting out for Good is their annual 2.5 week-long campaign that allows employees to choose from a wide variety of charitable opportunities in their local communities to volunteer for a day of service. Patty O’Connell, Chief Operating Officer, added, “We sincerely appreciate this recognition, and we are honored to help the organizations in our communities to realize their vision and mission.
